This course will teach you the basics of the major movement patterns. Over the course of 8 weeks, you'll learn each movement in a way that works for YOUR body, YOUR abilities, and YOUR injury history. As this course concludes, you'll have the knowledge to perform a full workout, knowing that you're moving in a way that honors your body and provides an efficient and effective workout.
This course starts with an online assessment, so we can get to know you and you can get to know yourself! This will ensure that you're moving in a way that meets you where your at and caters to your abilities. You'll have a call with one of our coaches at Unity Fitness to walk you through the results of the assessment and how to get the most out of this course!
From there, a new module will open weekly, allowing you time to learn, practice, and process the movement. The weeks will cover:
Week 1: Introduction and Assessment
Week 2: Breathing
Week 3: The Squat
Week 4: The Row
Week 5: The Hinge
Week 6: The Push Up & Horizontal Pressing
Week 7: The Lunge & Single Leg Movements
Week 8: Overhead Movements and Conclusion
